09 May Guest Speaker at the University of Lancaster
Really exciting to return to an educational environment, as one of the guest speakers at Careers Fair at the University of Lancaster. I enjoyed listening to the other guest speakers with some of them as alumni and others talking with some of the talented students about their ambitions. They are clearly tremendously well supported by their tutors and the awesome Careers team!
As a speaker, I talked through my journey starting from India as a student and moving 5000 miles away to England to become a successful business women as a photographer.
I shared my experience and hurdles while starting my career and how I made my decision to be a photographer. I am a Lancashire based creative commercial photographer specialising in unique and quirky portraits, company profile photographer, corporate head shots and candid style wedding photography.
After the panel event, it was good to speak to few students who wants to make their career in creative industry. There is a wealth of talented students out there who are so passionate about setting up their own business.
I would like to thank the team at Lancaster University for inviting me as a panel member and to share my journey as a successful business women in creative industry.
