11 Jul Historic place – Wycoller Country Club
Last weekend I went out for a photo walk with few members from Preston Photographic club at Wycoller Country Club. It’s a beautiful village with a ruin which seemingly represents an attractive proposition for day trippers.
It is a fantastic opportunity for photographers to capture beautiful landscapes and learn a little about the birds, plants and animals that make the area their home.. It is a picture place with terrific views to Pendle Hill and Atom.
I felt that Wycoller is one of Lancashire’s hidden gems with historic village and its enchanted valley which are captivated by its own beauty. This village is a peaceful place to spend time with friends and family and especially with kids who can splash in the stream. People who like walking, can explore the ruins and the bridges and a walk up to the Atom with beautiful views.
I would certainly recommend to visit this place with your camera as you can explore the countryside around here as there is some great countryside views.
